life insurance

today i had a look at life insurance as im going away on holiday, i found this.

would you get without an exam and health questions? Not a great one at all! Most likely a graded one (more on graded plans in an another article).
So you see, the question has now been answered! So is that it? Not really. Just as there is a great variety of insurance plans, there also is a great variety of no exam life insurance plans. One company may offer no exam, but many health questions and request your medical records. The next may offer no exam, many health questions but no medical records ordered. The next may have fewer health questions and no medical records ordered and so on...Keep this rule in mind though, the less you have to do to get approved for life insurance, the higher the rates will most likely be (I said most likely because there are many variations of plans). The type plan you are applying for may even make a difference. Did you know that you may be declined for term life insurance and yet be approved for whole life insurance or universal life insurance?
In general, we recommend that, if you have health issues and absolutely do not want to do an exam, then select a plan that will order medical records. You are more likely to be approved and rates should be lower. If your health is OK, and you just want a quick, no headache process policy, then a fast approval no exam life insurance plan with no medical records ordered may be best. By the way, if you do have some health issues, we do not recommend that you use an online only (online quote and online application) system as, if you get declined, it will place an unnecessary mark on your MIB records. Use a plan that allows you speak to someone before the application is submitted, during the underwriting process and and after you have been approved...or declined. Most online only companies, will not change their mind once underwriting is over. Once declined, that is it! Online companies are not bad. But everything has its place and everyone has different needs. Choose wisely.
First, we may want to consider why would anyone not do an insurance exam or do one? Being in business for many years, we have heard many many reasons. Bottom line though, people do not take an exam mostly because of fear or just because of inconvenience. Should they do they exam? Would it be better? After all the exam for insurance does not cost you anything, it is mostly painless and, if you get the right nurse, can be quit entertaining.
Anyway, to briefly answer the title of this article, the answer is no, you do not have to take an exam to be granted a life insurance policy. As a matter of fact we know of at least one company that does not even ask health questions! So, it appears that anyone can get an life insurance policy. The next question you should ask though, what kind of policy
